The following note from the Chair of Watchfield Parish Council.

A local dog has a confirmed case of Alabama Foot Rot which is being treated by Robert Elliot at Stanford in the Vale. The dog is only walked locally in 3 places – Ridgeway, under the wind turbines and at Bradbury Clump. Please ask your dog owners to look out for lesions and sores – more info on the website below. It is not known how it is transmitted.
