Longcot Concerts.  Due to the likelihood of inclement weather last Sunday the Longcot Concerts changed their venue from the Village Green to St Andrew’s church in Shrivenham.  Both the concerts were wonderful events – full of music and joy.  We were also able to raise nearly £700 for the repairs to the tower roof at St Mary, which is an enormous help.  Many thanks to all of you who contributed so generously.  (More on the plans for the repair in a week or so.)  Our very grateful thanks to Vicky Medcalf and the Clarinet Collective for the performances and to Norma and David Watson for their warm hospitality at St Andrew’s Church.

Family Service – St John’s Church Fernham.  This Sunday’s service is at St John’s Church, Fernham, at 9.30am.  It is a family service and will be led by Richard Fergusson.

Longcot Chapel. A joint service will be held in the Longcot Chapel at 3pm on Sunday.
