Mary-Jess concert at St Mary’s – Thursday December 14th

Don’t forget the Mary-Jess concert on Thursday December 14th, where her special guest will be Jamie Lonsdale, who has given many recitals in aid of Kingston Lisle’s own church and scores of charities.

Mary-Jess is returning to Longcot as part of her Winter Tour. Appearing at major venues across the UK, this is her biggest solo tour to date.  Mary Jess is an amazing singer so it is very special to have her here in the village for what promises to be an enchanting evening. She will be singing winter favourites such as Joni Mitchell’s ‘River’ and Frozen’s ‘Let it Go’, as well as songs from Mary-Jess’ winter album ‘Prayer to a Snowflake’, which was released last year to critical acclaim. The album includes self-penned songs such as the firm fan favourite ‘I Fell in Love with a Snowman’ and carols such as ‘The Angel Gabriel’ and ‘In the Bleak Midwinter’, as heard on BBC Radio 2 last Christmas, and seen recently on BBC Songs of Praise.

Jamie has recently released his debut album “A Journey”, and which features Mary-Jess in three duets with Jamie. Well-known locally for his help in fund-raising for Kingston Lisle church, Jamie has appeared in several London concerts and will be performing at The Sheldonan for the traditional Christmas Carol Concert, the week before.

Adult tickets are £15 and children are half price at £7.50. They can be purchased online via http://www.amickproductions.co.uk/mary-jess or direct from Belinda Boyd.

Tickets cannot be reserved without payment in advance.
