Friendly netball club looking for new members, Shrivenham.

We are a social and competitive netball club with teams playing in divisions 2, 3 & 4 of the Oxfordshire Netball League.

We train on Monday evenings 7-8.30pm at Shrivenham Tennis Club, Recreation Ground, Manor Lane, Shrivenham, SN6 8AD & play on Wednesday (Div2 & 3) evenings during the Winter Season, and on Wednesday (Div2) and Thursday (Div4) evenings during the Summer Season at the Netball Centre, The Community Arena, Marston, Oxford, OX3 0NT.

We are looking to build our numbers and strengthen our club. Beginners are always welcome. Whether you are interested in playing netball socially or competitively we would love to meet you.

Now the Sun can warm our winter white skins again! Welcome readers to Rise Again as Oxon Field Path-Finders – on First Tuesdays April to October.

Not to be eclipsed, Longcot 800 WALK 15 is the first to be enjoyed in the Lighter Evenings, immediately after Easter on Tuesday 7th April.  Meeting first at 6 pm on The Longcot GREEN by the village pump (Sat Nav SN7 7TE) for WALK15: then booting south into our Green Vale of White Horse – for our 6 km circular stroll — observed by our sacred White Horse and Brunel’s evening trains.  Noting Next WALK16 will be Tuesday 5th in Merry May.

Lastly, after sunset at 19:49 we can relax, drinking and chatting at The King & Queen, Longcot’s Loved Local PH.  Until the near-full waning moon rises at 23:06 to brighten our night, in deeply dark Longcot village, where we stargaze blissfully, with no-street lights to pollute our night skies.  JHF  07768 292 855
